The small library, which is located on the guest floor, is equipped
with a limited number of interesting books. It also houses an extensive
video tape collection which guests may use in the comfort of their rooms.
A balcony, for use by guests during appropriate weather, is available
off the library. While smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house,
it is allowed on the balconies and the front porch.
The Garden and Yard
Breakfast and Pantry
Our guests never leave hungry! Rates include a fabulous full breakfast
service consisting of a varying selection of: egg dishes, cheese and lunch
meat selections, cereals, prepared fruits, assorted baked goods, muffins,
bagels, croissants, breads, preserves, coffee and juice. Breakfast is available
in the dining room between 7:30 am and 9:00 am. We will do our best to
accommodate an alternate breakfast time should you require.
Our pantry is always available to you and is stocked with baked goodies and fruit, coffee, tea and juice.
Parking
Parking for one vehicle is included with your suite.
Check-in/out
Check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. Checkout time is before 11:00
a.m. We realize you may have a busy schedule, just let us know
if you require alternate arrangements.
Guest Facilities
Guest facilities include the library (stocked with books and videotapes
for your enjoyment), the front porch and the front balcony (with comfortable
seating), the garden, the parlor, the dining room and
the pantry.
Computer
A high speed, secure, wireless network is available for those guests
that have wireless capable laptop. For those who choose not to bring
their own computer a high speed, secure Internet connected computer
with a full suite of Microsoft Office software is available for guest
use. This computer can be used for email and business activities as
you may require. This service is available at no additional charge.
Gift Certificates
Arranging a relaxing getaway or retreat for someone special? … Gift
certificates are available … just ask.
Reservation/Deposit
We offer a number of methods for you to reserve your suite, the most
common being Visa or MasterCard. If an alternate form of payment is
preferred (e.g. cash or cheque) it can be arranged. All balances are
due in full at check-in. If the reservation is for a special event,
a 50% non-refundable deposit will be required and the balance must
be paid no less than 30 days in advance of check-in.
Cancellations and Changes
We strive to provide exceptional service, and a full refund will be made
available for reservation cancellations or changes with 14 days notice.
We will also strive to provide you a full refund (less a $25 cancellation/change
fee), for cancellations or changes with less than 14 days notice, provided
the suite you reserved is re-booked. In cases where a reservation is
for a special event and a 50% deposit was required the 14 day cancellation
policy is not in effect and deposit refunds will only be made if the
suite is re-booked.
Children and Pets
Unfortunately, our B&B cannot accommodate children or pets.
Making Your Stay More Enjoyable…
Please advise us of any health limitations and any allergies that
may impede your ability to enjoy our facilities prior to confirming a reservation
with us.
For the comfort of others, smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the house. Smoking is permitted on the exterior balconies, the front porch and in the yard.
We have a "no unregistered guests policy". Visitors are
welcome, however our insurance coverage allows a maximum of two
adults per suite and each must be registered.
For your peace of mind, McLellan House is equipped with thorough safety
and security systems.
